The Show Must Go On...

But yes, I am alive and coming home on the 25th to see you people. Looking very much foward to it. Yes I'll be at the event but only for friday and saturday. Spending sunday with my family before I fly back out here to San Diego.  Hope everything has been ok in my absense from GA. Not sure when I'll make it back after this visit. Got my orders to here in San Diego which is my ships home port. After I finish my next school I'll be headed to the fleet. w00. Miss everyone and hope no one forgot about me. Laters.

Yes, as I'm sure you all saw on the boards... I have graduated boot camp and am now a Navy sailor. I feel so good anout myself. there were so many times where I didn't think I could get through it and I did. Not only do I have anout more pride in myself, but I understand myself more. I found who I am and that would have taken  LOOOOOONG time had I stayed in georgia. I've lost weight, toned up, and just generally feel better (minus right now because I'm sick). I'm really happy with this decision and even tho I still plan on only staying in for my four years, I'm going to use this time to go to college and stay in this time and get a degree. w00t!

 

I'll be leaving for San Diego this upcomming wednesday for school and I won't be back in georgia until late August. And providing I play my cards right I should be able to make the and of August event. Won't be playing Selena so don't ask me to. ;-) She'll be back tho, eventually. Love you all bunches and can't wait to see everyone! I'll have a new phone when I get out to Cali so be on the lookout for a new area code comming across your phones when I call you.

Court clerk called me today.

Told me that I need to pay the $178 for the ticket and the judge will drop my speed to 14 over and it won't go on my insurance and it won't count against my license.


YAY!!!!! So I'll be paying that on thursday and getting my hair back its natural color before I leave. The lady at the salon said that my hair looked almost a dark blond at the roots.....

So, weekend was good.

Friday saw Spamalot at the Fox which was VERY funny. The only thing that sucked was I was in the second to the last row, so hearing was a problem. Good thing I knew all the songs and a had a generally good idea of the play.

Saturday morning got my ass out of bed at 6:30 and was at the station by 7:30. got to PT at 8:30 and got my ass worked. Did good though, I was proud of myself. Chief McKenna told me how proud of me he was for how much I've improved since I first joined the DEP program.

Saturday afternoon/evening I got my ass to site at around 4pm and was IP by about 4:30 or 5. Had a great time, and hung out with some people i don't normally hang with... aka Healers guild.

Sorry to everyone I never got to hang with at the event.... because either i didn't have time or when i got there you were gone (Kirstian, Nicole, Kirsten). I promise I'll see you before I leave... or will make a damned good effort to.

Today working at 6 (yeah... I'm back at the Road House...at least until friday) and need to go to the station for a bit and talk to my head petty officer.

I SHIP IN 18 DAYS!!!!!!!!

Yeah, no one try to get in touch with me the night before I ship out. I'll be in a hotel in ATL waiting to get on a plane tuesday morning.  So little time and still so much to do..... and its really starting to kick in now. I fucking hate crying a little here and there over this. See everyone at game hopefully!

Patrick's 20th birthday is this weekend. I'm headed to Pensacola on friday- sunday to spend it with him. Give him some sanity because he's going nuts, as he told me last night.

Some people are thinking that when I leave next month for basic training, I'll never be able to contact them again and I'm just going to drop off the face of the earth. Um, not true guys. I'll have an address up in IL where people can write letters to me and I'll make sure that someone gets it and posts it so others can have it. Also, when I leave for A school in early June, once I'm down there I'll be getting a Lap top withing the first few months and I'll have a cell phone. My number might be changing, but I'll still have a phone. Besides, I'll be coming back home eventually when I get leave or if I can when I have over night weekend liberty. So please don't think you'll never see/hear from me again once I leave. I love you guys, and ya'll and my family are going to have to be the ones to keep me going in basic with the letters, because as I was told by a newly graduated sailor, AR Patrick Seibert, "Remember the ones you love."

Well, my valentines wasn't like everyone else's, but I still had a good one. Worked most of it. Went on shift at 3 and didn't get cut until 9:15 or 9:30. Made just over $100 tho, and most of my tables were very nice. Blew that joint at around 10:30 and headed to spend my Valentines Day...night...or what as left of it... with Mitch. I got him a cookie cake and a card. I wasn't expecting anything from him but he got me a box of Godiva Chocolates.  Haven't broken into them yet...but after PQS tonight I will. Watched Sin City with him (I know, such a romantic movie) and then stayed up and talked. My meds kept me up until about 6:30 in the morning, so I got to lay in bed and listen to Mitch sleep. And night sounds. But...I had a good time.


Sent Patrick a card in the mail, but when i talked to him yesterday he said he hadn't gotten it yet. Poo. Maybe by the end of the week.

And its really fricking cold....

So, overall today has been good. Flipped out this morning at 9am when I woke up at Mitch's house and thought I was going to be late to work because I had to work at 11:30. Left there at 9:30 and got home around 10:45 or so. I was actually early to work. YAY!

I usually hate Sunday morning for waitressing but today was good. None of my tables gave me major problems and I actually made $92. Which is alot more than other people were making. And usually the church crowds are the worst tippers.

Pestered Patrick a little over text message while at work also, which is always fun.

But I get home and my parents are both taking naps so here I sit in a quiet house with my head phones on listening to music on the computer.

Anyone want to do something tonight?

Ok, so my voice has offically reached the status of "The Godfather". Seriously...I sound like him right now. I can hardly speak. Damn sinus infections. Not to mention possible PT this weekend, its gonna be a fun event. Sick and worn out saturday from physical training. Joy. But, I will be a nice break playing Listana instead of Selena.

Hoo-yah that Leland is home safely from London.

And uh...thats about it as far as I know. Had some seriously messed up dreams last night. When SOLAR crosses to main stream and you see people on the streets walking around with boffers in full costuming...and there's NOT a con going on.... yeah....

you know, it kind of scares me in a way that when I get out of A school in September... there's a possibility that I could get shipped to Iraq and work on an air base there.


I'm still hoping for somewhere in FL or the Pacific fleet in Pearl Harbor or Japan.

Oh yeah... and I'm sick.

So, this past weekend I drove up to IL with Patrick's mom, cousin and uncle to watch him graduate and spend time with him. Trip up there was uneventful... my driving shift was from 2-4 in the morning. Slept most of the day thursday after we got there. 

Friday was graduation. I've felt strong emotions before but oh my goodness this was amazing. 823 recruits graduated that day. 11 divisions. All in uniform, moving in unison. Beautiful. Makes me so excited and I'm going to seek an earlier ship date. Afterwards (once we got off the base) I finally got my multipul hugs and kisses from him. He talked us into staying an extra day so we could be with him all day saturday. I was proud of myself tho... I bairly cried. True he made me cry at one point when me made my heart melt but blah blah blah mushy stuff... email me if you want the entire story. But yes, spent some amazing time with him and was very happy and am now super excited about starting my service term.

Sunday drive home...uneventful until we hit a blizzard in Tennessee and North Carolina. As in we were driving through the mountains in a snowy blizzard. Patrick's mom is about to flip, I'm in the back seat with her trying to calm her down and at the same time becoming hypnotized by the HUGE ammounts of falling snow. Needless to say...that was fun, but at the same time...not so much.

I'll post pisture later when I get them sent to me from his mom. Hoo-yah!

I leave today for SC and then head up at stupid o'clock in the morning tomorrow for IL for Patrick's graduation. ^_^

So, the STYX concert last friday night was absolutely fucking awesome. We were literally right infront of the stage. I could touch it. Infact... I got to shake hands with James Young and Ricky Phillips!! And Mitch caught a towel that JY through and gave it to me...after some bitch ripped it from his hands and her husband took it and gave it back to us. SO. FREAKING.AWESOME.


American Idol!! Tonight!! 8pm!!! No one expect me to be doing anything because I'm gonna be watching that. Yes...I am an AIA. I already told my parents that when they write to me they're going to have to give me updates of the show. And someone is going to have to give me updates of what the hell is going on in game while I'm away.

Uhh...yeah...thats about it for now.

I head to IL next week for the graduation.

its almost christmas!!!!!!

EEEEEE!!!! I got a letter from Patrick today!!!!!! mom called me at work telling me and I starting squeaking in happiness. SO FREAKING HAPPY! He graduates either the 27th or 28th of January.


Been really busy lately. Quit Texas Roadhouse and starting back working for my daddy. w00 Wearhouse jobs.

Next week is christmas...good lord its come up quick.

So everyone have a merry christmas and a happy new year. See most of ya'll at the january event!!

My SC momma (patrick's mom) got a letter from him yesterday!! He said that he's enjoying himself up there, and that there's 4 1/2 inches of snow on the ground. But now I have his address so I can write him. This makes me very happy!! ^.^!!

Have a workout tomorrow with all the DEP recrutes in my office at 9:30 in the morning. I've got to get ready to run...grrrr. Guess I'll be using my run per day tomorrow. And I believe tomorrow is my last day at Texas Roadhouse. Thanks goodness.  No more comming home smelling like BBQ sauce.

Also planned with patrick's mom that we're both going up to see him graduate. Make it a roadtrip of sorts. Drive up to Chicago. This will be fun!!

Parents just got back from a Disc Golf cruise on friday, said they had an absolute blast! I bet it was, wish I could have gone. But I'm glad they had fun.
